Open Church is a collective of faith & recovery communities that are committed to empower individuals by:
Find. Start. Grow.
Our Collective
Outreach - Linden
Our community hub in Linden provides essential outreach and support. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays (9 AM–1 PM) to offer hospitality and resources to our neighbors.
RELAPSE PREVENTION
A specialized relapse prevention community focused on long-term victory and peer support. We empower individuals to maintain their freedom through connection and accountability.
FAITH COMMUNITY
A non-judgmental faith community for those in recovery or seeking a fresh start. Join us Sundays at 10:30 AM to find hope, healing, and a place to belong.
MISSION VENTURE
A mission-driven non-alcoholic beverage service that employs people in recovery. Every drink served supports local recovery programming and creates fun, sober spaces.
RECOVERY MEETING
The Hope Gathering meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm for those in recovery. The Hope Gathering is a recovery-based, inclusive community that acts as a bridge between the streets and faith.
RECOVERY MEETING
A dedicated space for women to navigate the journey of recovery and faith together. Find sisterhood, safety, and empowerment in a community that truly understands.

Committed to Social and Spiritual Transformation
Find God. Find Yourself. Find Your People.
Authentically messy Jesus followers making the kingdom of God tangible in our city.
Open Church is a judgment-free, authentic community committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion, racial reconciliation, and creating a safe place for all people to bring their doubts, their questions, and their hopes.
Through our communities, we foster an environment where people are empowered to find strength, purpose, and connection in Christ, no matter where they are in their recovery journey. Our mission is to create spaces where everyone—no matter their struggles—can experience grace, find hope, and discover the power of community in their healing journey.
We are open to God, open to who God is bringing alongside us, and open to where God is sending us.
Our Vision
We envision a safe, just city where everyone has access to pathways out of sex trafficking, addiction, and homelessness; youth and young adults have mentors and teachers cheering them on; elderly are not forgotten, but visited and cared for; food insecurity is a thing of the past and fresh, local produce is available in every neighborhood; those impacted by the legal system experience fair and equitable processes that bring true rehabilitation and reconciliation. And everyone can taste and see that the kingdom of God is here.
Join us in putting Hope on the Table.
Many members of Open Church are in sober living housing and rely on SNAP benefits to get by, and with recent cuts, they’re facing serious challenges.
