The government shutdown is creating a food crisis for many in our community, especially those in sober living homes.

Many members of Open Church are in sober living housing and rely on SNAP benefits to get by, and with recent cuts, they’re facing serious challenges.

Second Chance (Open Church’s faith community) is partnering with Cityview Church to respond with hope and action.

This is where we can step in.

Our goal is to provide 100 large grocery bags of essentials for 100 members of the sober community who are doing the hard work of recovery.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Donate Funds: The most flexible way to help. We'll do the shopping.

2. Donate Food: Drop off items from our shopping list at Cityview Church.
