City of Refuge Worship

Sadly, spiritual abuse and racism are a large part of people's experiences with the church.

If you've been deeply hurt by the church, still want to follow Jesus, but don't know who you can trust or where you fit, I totally get it - sadly, that's a part of my story too.

That's one of the big reasons that City of Refuge exists - so that people like you and me can dip our toes back into community, knowing that at the very least, there's space being made for our fears, doubts, anger, and tears.

If any of that resonates with you, I'd love to invite you to join us this Sunday 8/4 at 10am eastern for our time of gathering and worship. We have an in person option if you're in Columbus, OH and feel comfortable with that, and we also have a zoom option for both local and out of state folks. You'll even see some folks with their cameras off just listening in - we want to make sure that you absolutely can join us that way.

City of Refuge is our hope - that the city of Columbus would become a place of refuge for the downtrodden and oppressed, and where followers of Jesus seek the thriving of all in the city.
